Investments on Grand Bahama

In recent years Hutchison Whampoa Limited has invested in a number of projects on Grand Bahama Island. This investment programme includes the construction of a new state of the art Container Port capable of handling 1.8 million TEU annually and the 1,250 room Westin and Sheraton at Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort.

In addition, Hutchison Whampoa Limited and the Grand Bahama Port Authority have jointly developed a new Cruise Ship Harbor and a new 125,000 sq ft international passenger terminal and runway at Grand Bahama International Airport. This ongoing investment program will ensure that Grand Bahama will continue to have the best infrastructure in the region.
